Help - Seeking heli in/around Bergen area Norway

I am off to Sweden in June for some SAS Simulator training, but have no time to travel around.

I have been told that the Fijord country around SW Norway has to be seen to be believed, so I thought the best way might be a quick lap around the block in our favourite vehicle - the helicopter.

Does anyone know of, or can they put me in touch with, a helicopter operator or private machine in SW Norway? Is it possible to hire one there?
Looking for EC120, 350, or B206.

Are there any issues with an Aussie licence for private cross-hire?

What might be a reasonable hourly rate I could expect?

Are there any recommendations on what is a "must see" area?

Thanks,
hf

A couple of options....

Helmet Fire:

The SW part of Norway is beautiful, there is no doubt about that. I grew up about 30 min drive from Bergen myself so i know first hand.
You can probably get a tour around the area, however renting a helicopter I'm guessing is going to be a little difficult.

These are a couple companies you can check out / contact.

Fonnafly (based in Bergen): www.fonnafly.no Phone: +4755346000
Their prices are about US$1000/hr for an R-44.....prices are insane over there!!!

Airlift (Two bases app. 30 and 60 miles north of Bergen): www.airlift.no Phone: +4757718100
They operate AS350, but i don't know their prices.

Norcopter (95 miles south): www.norcopter.com Phone: +4751719600
Operate AS350 prices unknown.

These are the ones i can think of at the moment.....Hope this is helpful!!
Of course you can always see if some of the offshore companies want to take you around the block in their s-92's!!!!

Places to go: The fjords and mountains of Hardanger, Folgefonna (glacier), Bergen and its surrounding fjords and mountains...anywhere really!

Have a great trip!
Flyby.
