Simple Question

Simple question (I hope)

What would it take as a Commercial pilot in the UK, CPL of ATPL, to be able to fly commercially in Australia or New Zealand?
Preferably more the conversion side of things rather than a visa for example.
My initial thought would be a complete redo of similar exams taken in the UK???

g-mady,

Simple answer:

Step 1: Find Google

Step 2: Search for CASA (Australian CAA)

Step 3: After finding CASA site, find section regarding 'Conversion of overseas licences'.

Step 4: Download the relevant pdf.

Step 5: Job done.

NZ/Aust have a reciprocal agreement

Once you have one you can convert to the other with an application and fee.
