Don't know how close to Leeds you want to be, or what services you need.
I parked a Sea King at Huddersfield Crosland Moor once. Very friendly and welcoming, but cold in the wind.

there are lots and lots of places...
sherburn is good to visit (try the bacon sandwiches) in preference to LBA
there are also landing sites such as the Devonshire Arms up towards skipton, two concrete sites and great food (not cheap)
it depends what you are after.

I've landed a couple of times at a pub miles from anywhere on the Yorkshire moors where the landlord is a keen aviation enthusiast - lots of aviation pics on the walls etc. No helipad, but an adjacent field.
It was about 8-10 years ago so I can't now remember the name of the pub nor the precise location - somewhere North of Ilkley, I think.
It seemed to be popular amongst helicopter pilots in Yorkshire.
Anyone know the name?
The Devonshire Arms is well worth a visit. The restaurant is expensive but the bar snacks aren't too bad. Beautiful setting.
