Mate, you'd be pretty much spot on about those pesky sharks - they're just about everywhere.

On Veranus (NW Shelf WA) you can actually see schools of the s on short finals. It'd be a close thing as to whether you could swim the 20-30 yards to shore or get snapped up trying!

In SA, the problem is a little different. It gets very cold in the Great Aussie Bight / Spencer Gulf and it is THE home of the GWS. Not sure what I'd prefer, a slow and painful death due to exposure or a quick (albeit frightening) one due to a shark frenzy.

On second thoughts, let's not go there...
