Air to ground comms

Looking for satellite phone system to integrate into pilot and passenger coms.

Don't mind a cable to a seperate antenna but the hardware should be portable.

Hi tech hi cost not excluded

Thanks
Yes Iridium has come down in price to $1.50 minute voice calls.

The portable Sat Talk III hardware looks promising, does anyone have experience with it?

Any bright ideas for a removable patch antenna?
