Read somewhere it was a "firm" landing following an engine failure of some sort. Landing with the furrows/road would be a bit smoother than cross grain I think.

Looks like everyone walked away. That makes it OK in my book....Good One.
For those of you who go out to the airports and do those neat touchdowns on the numbers everytime, there is a difference when the thing quits unexpectedly.

Another write off = another sale = another increase in insurance premiums.
Glad there were no report of casualties.

Good Point Nick, not that it would have made a difference. That Heli-USA crash is still up in the air as to what difference it would have made there. My opinion was that more may have survived.......
