Pilot was BFS

He is ok, thank goodness, and was released from hsospital after a thorough check up last night

These guys have been working their butts off on the Vic fires.

pilot OK

dropped in last night on the way home after i heard about it
spoke to a security guard & a pilot on site
didn't get the name of the pilot concerned, but they did say he was under obs at LTV & was OK

apparently TR failure (spun 3 times before it contacted), someone will undoubtley have more (accurate) information

must have really rattled them up, but all concerned walked away relatively unscathed, it sure would have change the colour of my shorts

As the above reply's web page link describes, one of the pilot's feet fell behind it's peddle. It became caught behind the peddle as the pilot brought his foot back, which resulted in more spin.
