Question Era

Looking for feedback from guys who have worked for Era Helicopters in the GoM. Whats the company like to work for? Some of the drivers I have met were very happy there. Any details welcome, PM me if not appropriate for the forum.
Thanks, Jab

Re: Era

I know a couple of guys that work for them. One flies out of Galveston and enjoys himself, the other flies the tour season up in Alaska and enjoys that aswell. Both say that it's a good company, good people working for them.
However when they both started it took ages to get start dates for training organised. Lots of false starts which created a fair amount of aggravation.

Re: Era

I worked for them about 5yrs ago and they were then the preferred employer in the GOM. Met up with some of my colleagues last year who all seemed still happy there . One of their big perks was the free air travel which I believe is now gone either due to the sale of their airline or sept 11th. You would probably get more responses on the "justhelicopters" forum . My experiences with them were all positive .
Good luck
