Looking through my amendment state for the JAR-FCL2 Document,I find that the last amendment is Dec 2000 Knowing that I have paid for at least two amendments on renewal(£44 each time) and the fact that we are now up to NPA 14 for that document. I phone rapidoc to ask for my updates.. .Only to be told that there has been no amendments printed since the Dec2000 amendment. I then ask why have I paid rapidoc £88 for a service that has not been provided. Only to be told that the JAA have requested that subcriptions are still collected so you remain on the mailing list.. .Flying Lawyer is this fair! how many other companies and indivduals have had their leg lifted by this scam.

The whole question of JAR documents is a great con. You used to be able to access and even copy copies of all JAR documents from the JAA website. Presumably, at the request of the commercial document supplier, the JAA have removed the complete JAR documents from their site. You can now only access parts of those documents.. .. .I have suffered from a different problem from Green Arrow - I paid my subscription for JAR-OPS 3 and when there was a major re-issue in January got nothing from them. Only found out when I was talking to a Flight Ops Inspector and he had a later version of the document than me.. .. .By contrast, the CAA are getting better and better at putting useful documents onto their web site in pdf format.
