Search Pattern Software

I am looking for some software for calculating search patterns.
The same as a proper GPS does, but when you don't have a SAR calculating GPS.
Format for laptop and/or PDA would be handy.
Have tried searches on Google but no luck.
Any leads would be great.

Thanks for the reply.
I downloaded the software and contacted the vendor, but unfortunately it only works with OziExplorer and I have another type of mapping software.
