I was in Las Vegas in a few months ago and had a rather disappointing sunset flight to the Grand Canyon with the mob located right on the sunset strip. (PM for name) Standing there with all my pro camera equipt, there were just three paying customers in their 407, but a few minutes before walking out to the chopper, the pilots aunt and uncle show up. Obviously non paying pax who end up with the prime front seat and rear fwd facing seat. Of course I end up rear facing with a tiny window in the seat where the headseat has just suddenly become U/S and could not hear the commentary.
Now I know how some of my pax have felt...

BT
If I was in your position I'd contact B. Sousa, find out which company he flies for and arrange to fly with him.
Bert's probably relaxing in the Caribbean at the moment (he usually does this time of year) but you could PM him to see if he'll be back in Las Vegas when you're there.

Ho.Hum...here I is, In beautiful St Thomas. Just had a couple fun days in Puerto Rico.
I will be back in Vegas toooomorrow night. PM for details.
I have worked part time for one company there and currently work part time for another....
Cant mention names as the Advertising Police may step on my whatever again...
Be more than happy to help out. Im in the phone book and this is my name...
This disappointing company as mentioned above is currently the only company using the 407, it has also recently moved and changed ownership. Most others are using the A-Star or the EC-130. Consider they are all tour companies and sell a product to make money and also use the adage that they probably wont see the customer twice.
The major companies are Papillon, Maverick, Sundance, Heli-USA and Las Vegas Helicopters. I understand that Silverstate is now in the tour game but have no info on them.....

Hi,
I fly for ................................................. but we don't offer the raft tour.
Welcome to the forum Vegasflyer.
That many helicopters, eh?
Then no doubt you'll be joining in discussions and helping others, just like B. Sousa does.
Look forward to reading your posts.

Hi,
We (Self and Wife) did Vegas a few years ago and did the Papillon Champagne Breakfast tour, landing in the canyon for a breakfast picnic.
We flew in an Astar and self and wife got the front seats going and they swapped us around for the return journey so we sat in the back and a couple of others got a chance at the excellent view from the front. The view from the back of an Astar isn't bad either though.
A couple of guys were dropped off on the way back to do the raft ride (I think it was in Boulder if memory serves me right), but it was pretty much en route.
Got to have been one of lifes great experiences and I recommend it to anyone who'll listen.

Hi Guys
I managed to SFH a Robinson R44 with an instructor who turned out to be from Sundance . I've just flown the best trip of my life around the Nevada desert. 2.0 on the Hobbs. (Sorry Birddog, our trip down the Hudson has just gone number 2 )
I'm doing the sunset tour in an AS350 with Sundance tomorrow.
