£4500?

I'd want paying at least that much money to be seen driving round wearing THAT

Shouldn't that be R22 PPL? That might be worth 4/6!

I can imagine that number plate quite nicely on a silver BMW!!

Cheers

I was always amused by the artificial market created by the random numbers on British license plates. In the US, since the motor vehicle people work for us (strange thought!) the states make such vanity plates for a small fee, and take the extra revenue as more taxes. In the UK, the number is written by God, published by the Crown, and you get what it wants.

Just like CAA regs, Huh?

It's even more bizarre than you think, Nick; because to the great majority of us, no matter what letters and numbers appear on a personal plate, it always says the same thing...

Odd that....Vanity plates we merely take for granted here.....I have one myself...cost something like five quid for the thing....42 quid per year to register the car....no inspection requirement.

Sure glad the Brits have a better system don't you Nick?

If a Roman legion fought with less than the required zeal, one man in ten was killed (the origin of the word decimate).

If you were to kill 1 in every ten americans you would get rid of ALL the lawyers! - unrelated I know but I just felt the need to have a dig back at SASLESS!

Truth be told chaps - If I could get myself a job back in Arizona I would leave so fast I wouldn't even switch the lights off!

Now I also know that some of my chums here would probably welcome that development

Happy New year to all the Territories
