Vale Dave Freedman

Have just heard the sad news of the passing last night of Dave Freedman after a nasty, but a mercifully relatively short battle with cancer. Dave will be remembered by many as a former RAAF Mirage and Huey pilot as well as a Newcastle EMS pilot and a Pitts and Tiger fan - but first and foremost a damned nice bloke. He'll be missed by many...RIP mate.

Sad news, a very nice bloke.
I knew him when I first started in the RAAF, and he had a lot of time and good advice for us young pimply-faced cadets. Nice to watch him doing aeros in his Stampe over PCK.
RIP
