Fuel required Lake District

Please PM me if you can recommend a company to provide 600l of Jet A1 at a remote site during one day in Feb 06. Lake District UK.

Have you considered Carlilse or Barrow? Always very helpful for providing Jet A1 to the SAR helicopters.

There is a site at COCKERMOUTH @ N54 37.86 W003 22.21 which can be found in Pooley's guide. Plenty of Jet A1, Small amount of Mobil Jet 2 oil, Wind sock and NATO 'T' night landing aid on 180 degrees Mag. Tel 01900 828888

Cockermouth is, believe it or not an international heliport, having refuelled helis from Kenya, Germany, Italy, France and Ireland, and if you consider Scotland as international, then add that to the list. Air ambulance, police, Army and a variety of other users have refuelled there too.
