Post Flight performance and Planning - PPL(H)

I understand this is now a separate paper. Would appreciate some leads on where to find a syllabus or, from those who have already sat it, the content to be expected. Or both!Many thanks

I can't speak from experience of this paper because I've never seen it, but let me polish my crystal ball up a little -

Expect;

To be tested on lots of skills that are totally irrelevant to a Helicopter Pilot.

To be required to use a 'whizz wheel' (wonderful tool in the right context)when it is impossible to do so when flying most light piston Helis.

To navigate for heights (altitudes) that most Helicopters never climb to, and be ill prepared for the vast difference in low-level navigation when you are actually doing it.

To calculate fixed wing climb, descent and cruise fuel burn rates when they are practically useless for a Helicopter.

To plan flights to Hong Kong or similar when most Helis have no more than 3.5 hrs endurance.

To work hard on PNR's and ETP's designed for craft that cannot land almost anywhere.

To provide alternate aerodromes to divert to, maybe hours away, when the common sense thing to do would be to land at any suitable site that is close(within the law).

To fiddle around on loadings that may have hundreds of passengers and their baggage to consider when your Heli takes 4 passengers.

To waste lots of time which could be better used to gain more useful skills as you are learning a sorts of things that you'll never use.

To get a pass (good luck with it) in an exam that proves absolutely not a lot.

That is not the end, nor even the beginning, and it is not even the end of the beginning.

Helicopters, the recipient of ill fitting siezed wing hand-me-down clothes......!
