Does anyone know where I can have an EC 135 Type rating carried out?

McAlpine Helicopters at Oxford Airport is the place to be. Sole Eurocopter dealer and all that. The training is also good fun, allegedly!

It's only a 5-hour conversion, which is peanuts to an employer. There are no commercial (Charter) operators in the UK as most of these machines have gone to the Police or HEMS. I don't know your particular circumstance but if you are looking for employment in the UK I would wait. You will get the rating for free eventually.
