So what is the problem with N Reg Ac operating in the UK, I missed the previous thread so can someone enlighten me. Thanks.

Problem being that FAA said they cannot oversee aircraft with N registrations beyond their borders.
So, UK CAA has been consulting and is making noises about changing the way foreign registered aircraft can stay in the UK. See CAA website for downloadable consultation document. If you're having trouble sleeping, this will get you into dreamland within minutes.
