There is an 'H' in the 'Rover' plant itself!
or;
Cofton Park? Just to SW of plant.
833(217) Mast on southern side of plant to be aware of.
Owned by Birmingham City Council.

Lickey Hills golf course (council) 1Nm SW of \'Rover\'
or;
North Worcester Golf Club (private) 1.5Nm North of \'Rover\'
Hanging Lane
Northfield
W. Mids

If this haze goes, I'm sure the area needs 'patrolling'!!!!

SS

Best bet according to local knowledge

North Worcester Golf Club GR SP 010 791

tel: 0121 475 1026

p.s. it\'s nowhere near North Worcester

Map

You must have beaten me to it.

"Someone has just phoned up about a landing sight"
"Nobody around able to give authority"

At least it wasn\'t no!

Sounds like the place to be on a Sat afternoon....hic.

I'd have thought trying to find someone sober on a Sunday when Brum are playing Villa would be a bit of a challenge too. How did the match go, Sid et al? Not goals and boring footie stuff - was it a Cat C for Corker?

Had a distinct 'ghost town' feel about the place - no sign of Red Robbo now that the real Commies are there!
Main Guard Room insisted on supplying an Ambulance, Fire Truck and RRV everytime I went near the aircraft - but then they did say that they don't often get the chance to get their toys out!!

Quite a few Rovers dotted around, one was next to a skip and it was difficult to determine where to throw the rubbish...........

Phenomenal mg snot SV car blatting around trying to show potential investors what they could do.

Place stank of Chinese spices (not kidding) - guard force said that it's the best food around!!

Didn't realise that Rover had spent so much money on face-lifting 'Visitor Centre' 'Conference Centre' 'Corporate Centre' 'Quality Centre' (yes they do/did have one!!) only for the place to then be shut - sounds like many RAF camps I know.............

I take it that you used the 'Rover' site itself EESDL. I didn't think that site would be available given the circumstances. Live and Learn!
Hope I was of some help. (give us a ring next time and pop in for a brew!)

T&B,
As it was the first premiership win for Villa in 3.5 yrs against the Blues, especially being at the Blues, I expect there was a 'bit of a do' after the game. Cucumber sandwiches and mums best china all over Broad Street!
Nothing like the late 70's and the Green Army in Central Park! Or away to Exeter!!

I would imagine it was a late night for some .

As they say in Ethiopia, Abyssinia.
