Unhappy Heli Assn of Australia - Open Letter

To All Members of the HAA (Except Current President)

Just wanted to apologise to those members of the HAA that visit this forum for bringing some dirty laundry into a public forum. Dan Tyler and others including Ian Paull have done some tireless work for the HAA which is why I will not be airing my views.

Good luck with your association.

Your immature posts get less useful by the minute. Instead of airing your fixation in this forum, why don't you join HAA (if you're not a member) and work from within to help make it an effective voice for its members.

PAC ROTORS

THATS IT,

No renewal of subcription from me, extremely bias and unprofessional, you are doing more damage to yourself than gaining support!!!

Your choice if you want to resubscribe, if you dont then so be it.

If I posted the full truth about what they have done then I wonder what your comments would be. I have on purpose not given the full background but if you want it am more than happy to post it.

Maybe you should find out just what they have done before you jump down my throat, unless you think that Beckers are the be all and end all of the HAA.

Yes, its me again. You see now what I mentioned before. If you had an anonymous screen name like S-h-i-thead or something, your comments wouldnt come back to a "Professional Magazine"
"Professional Magazines" dont post like this and stay in business, unless its the National Enquirer or related.....
You also opened a can of worms mentioning you know all kinds of dirt, well you better get the dirt out and heres hoping its true or your really in for a bad time..
Dont get your shorts in a bunch, the folks that are hammering you are from your neck of the woods.....
Lots of Luck, if it were me, I would be sitting on my Chicken Plate.
SHOT,OUT.

Bert

There is a lot more to this than you are aware. I promised Dan Tyler, past president of HAA, that I wouldnt make it all public but am not going to sit back and watch someone who screwed us over make out that they are the be all and end all for the HAA. I have all the facts to back up anything I say. Those that decide they dont want to subscribe then so be it.

Yes you were right and maybe I should get a private handle but unless the post states that the view is the official view of the magazine then its only my views, end of story. For those such as slingload and Craig who wont resubscribe then so be it, thats their choice.

I have been involved with HAA for many years prior to the current president and wish it well but my PERSONAL opinion is that someone like John Eacott would be a better president. Everyone has their opinion etc and they all are worthy of being said, mine as well.

Pacific Rotors still covers the helicopter industry and operators in Australia and will continue to do so, just wont be publishing any info re the HAA. Thats all on this subject from me and sorry to prove you right again Bert. **** Happens.

PAC ROTORS,

I don't know the president of the HAA, but the membership will decide who should run their organisation, let them vote him out. YOU, as a publisher, should have the guts to put this into an editorial comment in your magazine, if you want to have an opinion on the HAA have it, but don't single out personalities and then justify it by saying that something has happened in the past. If Mr Eacott wants to run Im sure he will, maybe you should let the industry decide who they want as their voice. If the current president runs it poorly, the members will vote him out.

Appreciate your comments and if he does well then you lot keep him on. I have my opinions of the guy and they wont change and as I said before I wont use the magazine to bag HAA. For the 100th time I support the HAA as an organisation but dont support the person running it. And so you can distinguish this is a personal opinion.

By the way since you dont want to resubscribe let me know your correct details and I am happy to cancel your sub now and refund the difference if you so wish.
