Explaining New Zealand's poor accident record compared with other countries, North Shore Helicopter Training director John Clements said (amongst other things)that
<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size="2">"NZ pilots had to fly through mountains, valleys, dense bush and changeable weather, whereas English pilots simply flew from A to B.</font>
