2nd crash in Germany within 1 week
Today "Christoph51" a Bk117 ambulance ship of Team DRF based in Stuttgart crashed in the vicinity of Kirchheim killing all 4 on board.
This is the second sad accident in Germany within one week.

drugs from the safe in the station since years
and was flying partly incapacitated.
Seen falling asleep on auto-pilot flights before,
was woken up by medical staff in the right seat.
This time the medical staff was busy with
the patient an nobody could wake him up on time...

The man was conspicuous since years but the other crewmembers reported nothing. They feared problems in reporting bad news about a disciplinarian. That´s the real CRM.
But he was also a human, one of us helicopterpilots, total overloaded with company work additionally to the daily rescue jobs and attempted to escape in drugs. 47 years, not an age to be burned out. It´s a fuc... business.
