Thank you Up & Away. I'm sitting here on the big Icy island in the north where we have only 4 choppers flying and too few jobs so there's nothing else for me to do than go and find some opportunities in another country. It would be great if anyone in here can help me out, please.

Heli-ice: There are jobs for low time pilots in Canada but the hiring starts in the spring.
For your information there is a large Iclandic community in Gimili Manitoba , which is just North of Winnipeg. Perhaps you may even have a family connection there?

To support Helidrvr and IHL, the flying in Canada is also fantastic and adventureous (that means rough and uncomfortable sometimes) with lots of need for the odd non-standard judgement that helps build experience. This is not to mention the beauty of the landscape, of course.
Remember the rule, if a place needs helicopters, it is probably not worth visiting.

To helidrvr,IHL and Nick Lappos. Thank you guys. I know about the Icelandic community in Manitoba but I've been told that immigrating to Canada is hard, maybe I have an old aunt there who can help me, who knows? Its a good idea to haul a** and take a look at the Canadian outdoors.... Thanks for the info...
