Unhappy HELI-AUST B206 crashes west of Sydney

A Heli-Aust B206 crashed in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney on the morning of Monday 24th September. It was apparantly conducting operations for the Rural Fire Service of New South Wales. The pilot survived the incident and was taken to a Sydney hospital. Initial investigations revealed that the engine may have failed at 400ft.
