Dynali Light Helicopter

A web site on the two seat Belgian helicopter. The text is in French, however the pictures and videos aren't.

It is a kit with a 200-hour build time and a US price of $100,645.00.

The rotorhead is similar to the Robinson's. An article about it mentions " semi-teetering rotor blades with independent flapping axis". This would have got Lu excited.

Picture, quote and price stolen sans permission from Stu Field's Experimental Helo Magazine.

Dave,

The pitch horn and control rod connection seem to be in line with the teetering bolt..........

Lu would of been happy with this one

The article in Experimental Helo Magazine has an editorial note that states: "It is not clear, from the photos, how independent flapping axis is achieved."

Good point rotorque.
Maybe the author of the article misinderstood the head design.
It would be interesting to know for sure if this design is using the triple-hinge Robinson head or not. Anybody know?

As far as I know it is indeed Robinson like head.
I do remember some discussion wether or not to introduce a slight assymetry in the coning hinges some months ago.

Will try to give you some specifiques. I assume (sorry LU) that some non 90° angles should be involved, but before rushing to that I will try to get the precise specs.

Seems they still have a few problems with the engine.

Will try to pay a visit one of these days.
