Whats New In Gabon?

Hey Guys,

Whats up in Libreville and Port Gentil? Loved it when I was there, how is it now?

I still have one feet here....Wonderfull place, quite and idling life under equator....counting alternating rain and dry seasons. Sad there is no job enough for helicopter crews.

I was based in Port Gentil and use to go back there from time to time but I am now assigned further south, in Angola. And yourself ?

Angola? What a drag that must be! Is Luanda the same as some remember or better?

In my opinion, Luanda is getting better than it was few years ago, except of course road traffic ....but it is not an easy place to live; it's becoming every day more and more expensive, lot of administrative hasle, and places to relax are very few.
Beside this, interresting job on a greatly renewed helicopter fleet and nice people to work with.
