Instrument

HI i am currently working towards my cpl(h) but cant decide whether to go the instructor route or go straight for my instrument rating. Does anyone know if the north sea operators will take you on with low hours and an instrument rating?

Would it help if I paid to do my IR rating with the company in question?

Hi Birdaman,

My advice would be to get your JAR instrument rating if you have the money to do it. If it is the North Sea you are wanting to get into it is definately a big advantage to have an IR at the interview stage.

All the best
