ATT: JOB's for Aussies and Kiwi's

Gidday,

If you are 30yrs of age or less and you have from 1000 to 2000hrs + legit helicopter time and would like to work in Canada for the summer, you need to mail me ASAP.

I have employers calling me offering work right now.

I can help you into Canada, advise you on what you need to bring and set you up with a prospective employer. There are requirements and if you can meet these I encourage you to take the opportunity to exploit Canada's need right now. It is the best time in the last 10yrs plus to get some work here.

YOU NEED:

To be under 30 and eligible for the one year work visa.

The flight time as mentioned above.

Clean criminal record - things like speeding tickets are no problem but court sentences may be.

References.

Money:
Licensing costs will start at $4K Canadian and possibly extend to $8K at the ABSOLUTE worst. Your check and training time will run from 1 to 2 weeks.

Job pay will be variable depending on your experience. The range will be from $2500 - 3500 Canadian a month base pay with a flight bonus pay of $40 - 60hr. Some companies are paying minimums of 80hrs a month up front. Some are paying 3hr min's a day and some are paying none. The season is just about to go off here and you should fly from 60 - 100hrs per 30/42 days.
All companies will pay you a per diem for food of $36 a day and supply accommodation in town and on the job. Some will fly you to the job from the major centres as well.

WHAT WE DON'T WANT:

Bull**** artists.

If you cannot fly or are intending to lie about your hours to get in here then you are not welcome. I won't help you to have my name associated to a guy who wipes out a set of blades, OT's a machine or runs out of gas. Not all the work here is particularly difficult but some of it can be. Others have come here and tarnished our reputation and then left the country.

If you cannot longline or have no sling time then I need to know. Basically, I need to hear what you know you can do. I will send you to the employer who can train you for what you need and use your abilities. The Canadians are very aware that other antipodeans exaggerate their hours to get a job.

Nobody cares if you have only flown tours around the rock or Queenstown, never done a sling load since your training or have no mountain time. If you do have these things, great! but you will be trained for the work you need to do. You will get to bucket and longline if you are up to it and they will get you going if you have the skills to learn.

Nodody here cares if you have no turbine time. You will have at the end of the season. If you fly a 22, 44, 47 then there are jobs for you on Bell 206. Tell me what you can do already and what you would like to achieve and I will try and find a good job.

You can bank on at least 4 months work right now. Some jobs will run right into the winter and you will do some snow time. Expect things to get really slow from Oct to Nov. Just in time for summer at home...

If you are not under 30 then I may still be able to help with the work permit. Mail me as well and we can chat about what we need to do.

Mustering Git.

Used to work for CHC but no longer. When I was there they only paid $500 and they never paid me for getting Timmo in or any of the others I went to HRDC for. I would send guys to CHL if it was good for them but it wouldn't be my first choice.
Just offering a helping hand cause I did it the hard way and I seem to be asked all the time anyway.

Enjoy sleeping in your swag, I think you fit the not wanted profile.

New Zealanders and Australians have the right to work for one year in Canada under a commonwealth agreement. The same applies to Canadians working downunder.
It makes the whole process much simpler if you can get the work permit. If I have to go looking for a permit for you, it can and will take months to process.
