Anyone (In Australia) recognise this heli.....
Spotted this aircraft at Moorabbin Airport on 29th of April. I'm guessing privately owned with nostalgic paint job.
Anyone know of the story behind this aircraft?

B Model Huey
Hollywood,
The aircraft belongs to the Naval Aviation Museum in Nowra, NSW. It is a B Model huey which was used by the Fleet Air Arm in the 70s and 80s.
There are only a select few that get to fly it, one being the boss of Naval Aviation himself!
It has a VH registration but I can't recall what it is. Hope this helps.
Regards

Being a little picky here, so call me a pedant if you like.
The aircraft belongs to the RAN Historic Flight, not the Australian Museum of Flight (AMoF nee Fleet Air Arm Museum) and is based at HMAS ALBATROSS in the sunny Shoalhaven.
The RANHF is charged with flying historic naval aircraft which continue to belong to the Navy but are civil registered. Aircrew and maintainers are permenant or reserve members but all volunteers - there are no permenant positions on the Flight.
The RANHF have a number of aircraft with 898 being the only serviceable aircraft at this time. Other types that will or may eventually return to the air with the Flight are a Westland Scout, Grumman Tracker and one or two C47s. Further off there is the possibility of a Firefly and even a Seafury - but I'm not holding my breath.
Hope this is of interest.

Squidly is correct,
VH-NVV (898) is operated by the Historical Flight at H.M.A.S. Albatross, and after too long on her skids it is fantastic to see her back beating the air into submission again.
Piloted by some dedicated and well known Navy pilots from the days of old, but not too old! Hats of to you fellas , I'd love to have your seat when you decide that you have had enough.....
