New Bell MAPL Line

Just reading in the new edition of Vertical Magazine about the MAPL line, quite interesting in that,

the mirabel plant is currently supporting 6 production lines,206b,206L,407,412,427,430.

these production lines will eventually be phased out except for the 407 with the introduction of the 429 containing 75% of the new technologies in the MAPL.

the new designators will be the

351.....3 bladed, 5 seat, single engine
381.....4 bladed, 8 seat, single
382.....5 bladed, 8 seat, twin engine,

each of the helicopters will have the same engines, blades and fuselage with the 381 & 382 will have a centre plug

Mirabel expects the roll out of the first 3 prototypes by june!
