Fancy a Job
Wages aren't much, but the staff are a good bunch of blokes: http://www.flightinternational.com/f...545&JobTypes=0
Must one be bi-lingual....English and Scouse?
Absolutely outrageous salary, Dave! What in the name of faith do they expect to hire for that sum???
I suspect junior ranking ASDA managers.
How can the UEO earning this much be expected to run a multi million pound operation, on less salary than the least paid PC on the Unit.
Someone has got their sums seriously wrong..
You pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
God help you lot!!!!!
Makes all the other civvy UEO's look very overpaid, I suspect?
Pathetic

My lord...that's a pants salary for such a job....a family of four asylum seekers gets 16 grand TAX FREE a year, accom paid for AND FREE FOOD COUPONS!!!!! That salary will put the recipient in the bracket for income support! Shame on you.
One would be better compensated for handing out traffic summons to apple eating women than being a Merseyside Police Pilot....well...after your second year writing tickets anyway.

The internal advert is different to the Flight one. In Flight you are required to have experience of civil flying operations. This does not specify a helicopter operation or a management position in a heli operation. If the pay was 10 grand more I might apply!!

Ah yes ........ nothing like a bit of 'jobs for the boys'.
I guess the current incumbent is due to retire but in typical fashion has financially over extended his/her outgoings beyond his/her likely pension. Oh then lo and behold nudge nudge...wink wink.... retires April 1st and reemployed April 2nd on grossly deflated salary that will nicely benefit him/her and his employer.
Then along comes a legal challenge from a disgruntled alternate candidate and lo and behold a 36 month legal battle resulting in a huge payout footed by the tax payer.
Havent we seen all this before?
