Camera or Video System

We would like to fit a digital camera or video recording system in our R44. The purpose is for private work, not ENG so it does not need to be as elaborate as Frank's version.
I once had a camera man in the back of a B206 doing his job while I flew and positioned the ship according to the monitor he had installed for me in the front left side. It worked quite well. Can the same be done with a still camera, ie an extra monitor and cyclic control trigger switch? Any recommendation on brand, prices etc would be appreciated.
Thank you
WLM

Ooops just remembered you cannot advertise on the forum, so disregard the price request please, but may be the most suitable system can be referred to? Thanks

Why do you need a monitor? If you get the target in the bottom end of the forward part of the top panel of a 206 pilot's window, the cameraman will get it every time. I'm sure there must be a similar spot for the 44?

Most digital cameras have an AV output. I have a Fuji Finepix s602 and it will allow the AV output to be sending the viewfinder image as it takes the photo, so would be ideal for that application. But as I said, most digital cameras would have that function.
As for the remote trigger, you will probably only find that on the SLR type digital cameras - try the Nikon 10D? or the Canon 30D they retail at around the $1000-$1500NZD range and would do the job well. Also, you can get small flat screen LCD monitors from Jaycar and the likes for around $250NZD.

Hope that helps, PM me if you need more info.
