Paint Paint Paint & Wild Helicopter Artwork
Why not go for something like one colour on the upper body and cowls, then another on the lower half that extends along the tail boom. maybe add a couple of go-faster stripes as well?
Must be good, because almost every single jetranger has it!

I should have mentioned that I have already trawled through Airliners.net, which covers a lot of aircraft, but as Pohm1 points out, there is a lot of similarity and not much imagination in the majority of schemes...

Hi SC,
take a look at http://new.helionline.net/photogallery/5.html
There you find pictures from nearly every Bell, registered in Germany.
I personally like
evenso ist a Agusta Bell - but it´s an eye-catcher, especial when selling pleasure flights.

Here is an eye-catching colourscheme that I reckon works really well on the Bell 407. Might not look to shabby on a Bell 206 JetRanger either:
Alternatively, an all white Bell 206 JetRanger with a stylish company logo can look extremely snazzy too:

I think these are all good conservative schemes, others might say they are a bit dated, but if it's a working machine something a bit different might not be what you are looking for.
Not on JetRanger's, but you could go for something very different!!!!
If you are UK based as you profile suggests, I know a very good paintshop in the south of UK!

Southern Cross,
Lots of interesting colour schemes, but a couple of points to consider, before you make up your mind!
Is your machine for private or business use, and to what sort of "working" environment will it be exposed? All machines will encounter knocks and scratches during the year, some more than others, and touching up exotic schemes can be very difficult. Apart from colour matching on metallic paints (talk to any motor vehicle paint shop), there can also be clear laquer coats over better schemes, and pearl highlights on base white. Nice and pretty when new, but even rain erosion can prove a PITA long term! Lighter coloured tail booms will show exhaust stains more than dark, and detract from the overall look: just look at the pink German machine as an example. Longtitudinal stripes will make the 206 look slimmer, and an upsweep at the end of the fuselage will continue that through to the tailboom.
I've got two 206's with pearl over white + two clear coats, so I'm speaking from experience: constant problem to keep them looking good. Also, is the aircraft to be hangared, or parked outside? Hangarage will preserve the paint much longer than exposure to the elements, plus add about 10% to resale value.
Good luck

Thanks everyone. Some interesting suggestions. It will be a working machine so needs to look corporate without being overly dated. I fully get the point about dark tailboom colour having flown a white 206 which requires more than the average amount of spit-polish... I also agree on the longitudinal swishes...basically anything that makes a 206 at least look fast has to be good right?
I think I'm getting a nice design together. When its done, I'll post back and you can all shoot it down...!
Thanks, SC.

Another word of advice (2 cents worth) is to stick to the manufacturer's scheme. Go to the Bell website and have a look at the latest schemes. The reason for this is that you can take a fairly old Jettie and make it look like it has just come off the production line. Whilst Bell do not offer the jazzy paint schemes, generally they have designers who look at issues like making the machine look streamlined etc.
From a resale value point of view, a standard paint scheme is one that requires 'no excuses'. You may paint a helo in a dramatic design that you love but the chances are good that a potential buyer might not share your enthusiasm. Hence possibly devaluing the machine unecessarily. Like I said earlier, my two cents worth!

For the paint, I would recommend Edmundson's at Thruxton, I think the telephone number is: 01264 773200. You will get a first class job, they are normally really busy and there is a long wait, but in my opinion, it is well worth it!
For the interior, Patriot Aviation at Cranfield are the Bell dealers for UK and Eire, you could give them a try. Telephone number is:- 01234 752220.

I have just had my AS350 done by Farnborough Aircraft Interiors at Farnborough Airport...EXCELLENT and really nice guys, not expensive and the best quality leather stitching i have ever seen . Speak to Hugh.
Have had 4 of my 500's done by Edmundson - enough said. Interiors done by a local ( Exeter ) guy - Connolly leather hides on every piece of plastic for under £ 5000. The first one done 5 years ago still looks the dogs. PM me for more info
