The idiot that flew that home doesnt deserve to hold a Pilots licence , let alone an instructor rating.

I had a tiny chip out of the end of my horizontal tail stab following ground crew damage on the ground (about 1" nick) & would not fly that....

Is that Hugh's R44? Red & White. Can't be that many to choose from in the hangar at Bankstown.

Thanks for the photos. Pretty incredible. Monocoque? Testimony to weathercock stability?

Personally, I hope the PIC is not crucified. Many pilots die from their mistakes; the rest learn.

BTW; the damage looks all impact, not flight.

"Nah, it was just a little nick before I took off .... honest!"

Appreciate the pics imabell. They might have to re write the maintenance manual after that one.

Can't post threads or replies although logged in!

Heliport or Pedalstop,
Could you please PM me with regards to me being unable to submit contributions to threads although being logged in as a registered user. I have spent a lot of time typing submissions only to be frustrated by a screen saying that I am not logged in or unable to access this page.

I have this problem sometimes as well. It happens, usually, after typing a long post. I always copy my post now before submitting, then it is just a paste job once you are logged in again.
