Unhappy R44 accident at Issy

I have it on good authority that an R44 was involved in an incident at Issy yesterday afternoon - anybody know anything?

For those of you from far away, Issy is the heliport close to the centre of Paris.

Yes,

tail rotor strike with the fuel truck, loss of control of the R44 that crashed on the other R44 parked next to it...

The two R44 are destroyed, the pilot was only slightly injured (one broken rib I think). No other damage nor casualties around.

You didn't blow it over with your big blue S-92 did you?

You could open the ramp and put it inside to move it out of the way!!

Percentage of Robbos flying

After all the crunches, bumps, bangs and destroyed R22's and R44's I would like to know just how many of those built are still flying today?
Would I be near the mark if I suggested 80% or is it nearer 50%.

No wonder the yellow one crashed. Someone had fitted a tail rotor where the main rotor should have been

Texdoc,

I think it's still only one. I believe MaxNg was refering to you in his initial post!

Appears to be a little scratch on the paint work on the blue one...

Any news on the pilot? The front of the orange one looks pretty mashed!

Disappointed there has not been a lot more French bashing on this thread.

do you think the tags put on the nose of the blue one and and the base of the mast on the yellow machine say something like "do not operate until maintenance complete" ?

That's an evidence tag attached to the string that's going all around the wreckage to avoid that one could tamper with the accident scene before the end of the enquiry.
