Caa Flight Ops Playing God

According to this years' Cheltenham brief the times of official sunset will be determined by Flight Ops. Have they finally become deities? Can they take create a new world this one is getting too much.

I know some of them have high opinions of themselves, but please.

It has been expressed like that for some time for Cheltenham - I thought along similar lines the first time I saw this form of words.

If you got them to decide on the time of high tide, could you persuade them to re-enact Canute on a beach somewhere?

That was canute you suggested wasn't it. I'd hate to think you might have mis-spelled something very rude.

Sounds like a certain ex-Premier of Queensland, Sir Joh Bonkers-Bananas, who refused to allow daylight saving in his state.

It seems the sun shone out of his @rse and he wasn't going to get up an hour earlier for anyone!

Cool

AC,

Nice one

Mind you, he was also a fairly competent helicopter driver, so there's hope for all of us
