Hello everyone, my first post and it's a blatant attempt to tap the resources of all you other whirly-wing ppruners.
Has anyone got any video footage of any SAR helis winching or long-lineing, preferably onto/off boats.
The catch is that i would like some video clips to use in a lecture to a group of rescue boat drivers about working with helicopters. This means i'm looking for stuff at fairly high resolution that i can show on a data projector.

I just came across a whole Coast Guard rescue demo with video clips here , two specifically show winching up from a boat and back down to the boat.
There's also a site called efootage that has a bunch of archived news material - unfortunately not free. Search for "helicopter" and choose to exclude everything with "aerial" in it and it brings up some interested stuff. It looks like efootage.com is down at the moment, so maybe try again another day.
