And the winner is......................
HAI's Executive Committee met and executed a full agenda on October 24, 2004. HAI's Awards Committee met October 25-26, to select the winners of HAI's prestigious "Salute to Excellence" Awards.
The Salute to Excellence awards program, now in its 44th year, recognizes outstanding achievement performed by individuals or companies in the civil helicopter industry. Winners will be recognized during the HAI "Salute to Excellence" banquet and awards ceremony to be held on February 7, 2005, at HELI-EXPO 2005 in Anaheim, California.

The nominations come from the membership. If you don't participate in the nomination process, it's not surprising you don't see the people you know recieve the recognition they deserve.

Just sidetracking for a second. Would love to know what MD put towards this award, especially if it is monetary and they cant even afford to build parts for all the AOG aircraft out there, so maybe they should stop sponsoring the award and use the money to get their last few remaining loyal customers airborne - bitch session finished.
