What's New In W. Africa (Nigeria)
Nigerian In Law
Grunt92,
CK passed away some time ago. As far as I know RA is still in the QA office, the last of the old guard in that department.
212man,
Thanks very much, I'm fine and enjoying life. My new role is pretty draining emotionally but I feel very strongly that it must be done. During my lengthy in-patient stays on the cancer ward I saw a lot of people pass away with no-one to support them. Nobody should have to face their last days alone.
Cheers,
NEO

It’s very inspiring and I hope one day I can do something as noble. Thanks for clarifying CK’s situation - I had wondered for some time where was now.

I got a msg this week that 2 AW 189 from Norwich are going into NG, and also a S92 from Australia, and they just sent my old girl (BMN) back to the Uk . Who's running this place. ?
Nigerian In Law
I hear Australia is almost dead for Bristow; they've lost out to HNZ mainly but CHC have taken some chunks too. No idea who would take 189s or additional S92 in Nigeria though.
Maybe 212man can help; he's there.
Cheers,

Thanks for confirming, that's what I had heard.
Welcome back Sasless, you've been quiet for a while ! Nothing on the US Politics thread either, I was expecting a nice bun fight between yourself and chuks but was disappointed.

NEO,
Dear Chuks and I stay in contact by email these days as that other avenue is no longer available.
I very much enjoy his sense of humor and take on Life as he is a Master at the wind up!

Mamaput,
Unless the T & Cs have changed (and they may have done over the years) I was under the impression that full names of employees weren't permitted. Where Are They Now and Jet Blast use them for lost souls and politicians/personalities respectively but as far as I know they're the only places where naming is allowed. I stand to be corrected though.
Sasless,
Me too, his evil but funny sense of humour has caught more than a few people unawares ! Nice to see you back.

Check this link, spares stolen from Bristow Helicopters, Lagos, the value quoted of just over $46,000 doesn't sound like the value of new or serviceable items quoted,
sounds more like S76 parts being sent for repair and diverted, the names of the 'business men' don't sound familiar either, anyone know more about this?
