Helicopter pilots: Time building

I'm working as a CFII on the US west coast and I have almost 500 hours flight time in helicopters. I did my flight training as an international student on a J-1 visa. To have a chance on the european helicopter market I want to get at least 1000 PIC hours before my visa expires. My visa is good until August 2005.

Since the flight instruction business is a little low this year I try to find another opportunity to build this so important flight time. But there's not much going on for low-timers like me ... and now the winter is coming.

Is anybody out there who is or was in the same situation or anybody else who may can give me a tip?

Thanks guys!
