The Future of VTOL; Part XVII (or is it IIVX)

An aircraft carrier approach is being considered for scheduled commercial flights between 'micro airports'. In this concept, the means of providing the vertical portions of the flight is located at each 'micro airports'. The craft only contains the means of providing the horizontal portion of the flight.


NASA is currently funding the following projects;

Hu Flung Pumpkin Enterprises
Leonardo Aerospace Corporation
The Hannibal Project
Outer Islands Development
