No helicopters for Bush in Rome

Italy Online
BUSH IN ROME WILL TRAVEL BY CAR, NOT IN HELICOPTER
(AGI) - Rome, Italy, June 1

No movements in helicopter will be made by US president George Bush, who will visit Rome. He will travel only by car.
The decision was made by the president's security workers, considering the fact that helicopters are the most vulnerable means of transport to attack, as seen in numerous wars, including the one in Iraq, in which helicopters were hit by simple shoulder-borne missiles.
When Bush arrives - at the Ciampino or Pratica di Mare airport - he will move by car. The entire area around Villa Taverna, where Bush will stay, has been controlled, with trash cans taken away, and bans on parking. At least 10,000 officers will work during the president's visit, while all hospitals are on alert in case of any occurrences. Fire-fighters have been placed in strategic positions, and around 80 ambulances are on-call. (AGI) .
