Dragon Fly 333
Are there any of these Dragon Fly 333 helicopters flying. Several years ago this was seen as a likely contender for flight training.
Since the initial burst of information nothing has been heard of these Italian light helicopters.
Anybody know anything?

In Italy, there are perhaps 40 of them, mainly in the ultralight category, although I think a few are on grown-up registrations too. Elsewhere, very few if any.
I recall Burman Aviation (as they then were, under James Catto) had one at a Helitech exhibition with lots of trumpeting that they were the new UK dealer blah-de-blah. Bbut that must have been 1999 I suppose - certainly prior to Mr Rigby's money coming along and the company getting named after a famous missile!

Some interesting work being done behind the scenes to get this project going again. Can't say much more than that. I've talked to the project managers and they are making all the right noises, both technical and financial.
