When strapping in, just give a hard short pull to your shoulder harness to see if the inertia-lock really works!
I once had an acft in wich this was not the case. Had a mechanic look at it, delay took only 10 minutes but problem solved, go figure...
By the way, do the same thing with all the other shoulder harnesses inside, better to be safe then sorry...
