Ferry from Cali to AZ
I'm getting ready to ferry an R22 from San Diego to Florida. I'm flying the first leg solo due to the high terrain between California and Arizona; then meeting my copilot in Phoenix for the rest of the trip.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions for the safest/easiest route over this terrain? I'm also taking into consideration the restricted areas en route. Any advice from somebody who has made this trip would be greatly appreciated.
