Bristows Bend an S76

Here's the as yet unconfirmed rumour of the day. Bristow S76 had a mishap whilst training and have either hit the tail on landing or chopped the tail with the main rotor. Nil injuries. Anyone got anything further.

I heard Oz so I presume Barrow Island or Karratha? Yep it would be easy especially if you had your hands full with OEI or some other critical malfunction at the time.

Training Accidents.

I sort of agree with Old Nigel....also Training Accidents are unfortunate and dam expensive.

I heard a wisper thru the network as well.....But geeee, the big "B" never has accidents...just FOD, or mechanical shortages or unservicabilities...unless its a smoking wreck off the end of the runway which is hard to hide...but never an accident!!

That could just as easily be the big "B" helicopter maker!
Who are somehow able to turn Major accidents into minor incidents on NTSB reports, on there factory courses!
