Australian pilot honoured
Captain David John HOGAN, Hahndorf, South Australia, was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the Australia Day Honours List.
He was awarded the OAM for service to the community of South Australia through the State Rescue Helicopter Service.

Heliport, some of us cannot comprehend the enormity of that Award. Would you expound a bit as to what happened and how big it is...Like do we buy him a Beer or Ten Beers if he comes to HAI......

Hoges has been flying the SAR helicopter in Adelaide for nearly 20 years. He deserves a medal for putting up with all the changes of management and company owners!
