76 Crash Late 90ties, Africa

HI :

Does anyone recall the particulars of a S-76 crash off the west coast of Africa in the mid to late ninties. I believe they were doing night training off a rig.

Yes, CHC off Angola.
Night traning, Two crew, Flew into water after over rotation I am lead to believe.

Crew rescued, Aircraft sank in deep deep deep blue and to the best of my knowledge un-recoverable.

Anyone know if the Angolans have recieved all four of their new 76c's yet ???

They've had 2 C+'s here for a while and 2 more brand spankers just rolled up a couple of days ago.

I think more are planned and maybe a Supa Puma or two as well.

Cool

IHD,

Minor point, it was Court at the time, not CHC yet.

Cheers, OfshoreIgor
