Developments at GoM Operators
There are developments at two GoM operators (both with big order books):
1 - NEW COO at TEX-AIR
Tex-Air Helicopters, Inc. announced yesterday that Neill Osborne has been appointed thier Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective November 3, 2003. He had been OLOG's VP Training and Safety since late last year, and previously their VP Europe, and Ops Director at AirLog (joining the group in 1993).

2 - OMNI AWARDED GoM CONTRACTS
"October 29 - OMNI ENERGY SERVICES CORP, announced today the Company had been awarded several new aviation contracts providing transportation services for oil and gas companies operating in the offshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico. These new offshore contracts supplement several new aviation seismic contracts for geophysical companies operating in various regions of the United States.
To meet this increased demand, the Company announced today the planned expansion of its aviation division. The expansion includes the third quarter delivery of a Bell 407 and a 206L-III, the anticipated fourth quarter deliveries of a Sikorsky S-76 and two (2) Bell 407’s and the planned acquisition of five (5) Bell 206L-III’s. These newly acquired helicopters will be used principally to support OMNI’s offshore aviation operations.
To enhance its heavy lifting, seismic support and fire fighting capabilities, OMNI expects to take delivery of two (2) Bell UH-1H ''Huey'' helicopters in the fourth quarter.
With these additions and other planned re-structuring, OMNI will own and operate a fleet of eighteen (18) helicopters. Further expansion and re-structuring of OMNI’s aviation fleet and operating locations is anticipated."
