UK registrations

Given that the CAA does not allow offensive G- registrations, I couldn't help but giggle as I browsed the latest list of "out of sequence" regs.
There in its full glory is an ex-MOD Gazelle re-registered as........G-FUKM

Come on - where are you ? And how did you get that past the letter police ?

I did a search and there really is an aircraft out there with the reg
G-SHED, I dont think I would want that on my aeroplane !

The CAA aren't the only ones without a sense of humour.
When we were looking to register our new police helo we suggested G-PLOD which was available at the time. Unfortunately Senior Police Officers don't laugh either !
