If all things work out, there should be an FNPT (II) approved machine more widely available in the not too distant future. See www.flyit.com for details.
Going through JAA approval right now.

The FNPT that we have here at PAS is actually an FNPT-G, not an FNPT-II.

FNPT

Just to help clarify the position regarding 'JAA Approvals'.

Firstly, every device has to be individually qualified by the Authority of the country of the operator applying for qualification. There is no such thing as a type certificate for FNPTs.

Secondly there is at this time no formal mutual recognition of FNPT qualifications between the JAA member states. This
is the position of the JAR STD Advisory Board for various reasons and eventually it is hoped that it will change.

So the 'JAA' approval mentioned may not mean much outside the JAA country approving it!
